Role Overview:

We are seeking a Marketing-Focused Virtual Assistant to provide administrative and hands-on execution support to our marketing team. The ideal candidate has supported a marketing team, assisted a marketing leader, or worked within a marketing agency, and understands how campaigns, content, and social media come together.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including calendar management, meeting scheduling, and inbox organization

- Coordinate marketing projects and tasks in project management tools, tracking deadlines and following up with stakeholders

- Schedule and publish social media content across platforms using scheduling tools

- Assist with drafting, proofreading, and formatting marketing copy, emails, blog posts, and social captions

- Create simple graphics and visual assets in Canva based on brand guidelines

- Support email marketing campaigns, including list management, building templates, and scheduling sends

- Conduct basic market, competitor, and trend research and summarize findings for the team

- Pull and organize basic campaign performance data and prepare simple reports

- Maintain and organize marketing asset libraries, content calendars, and shared files

Required Qualifications:

- Experience as a virtual assistant, administrative assistant, or coordinator supporting a marketing team, a marketing leader, or within a marketing agency (non-negotiable)

- Working understanding of core marketing concepts, including social media, content marketing, email campaigns, and brand consistency

- Hands-on experience with social media platforms and content scheduling tools

- Strong written and spoken English with a clear, professional communication style and a keen eye for detail

- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines at once

- Proactive and resourceful, able to work independently and take ownership of tasks

- Must have prior remote work experience, be fluent with remote collaboration tools and platforms (such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar), and have ideally worked with US or UK-based companies. Applications without this experience will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or HubSpot

- Familiarity with basic analytics tools such as Google Analytics or native social media insights

- Basic knowledge of website content management systems such as WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify

- Experience supporting paid advertising campaigns on Meta or Google

Tools & Technology:

- Google Workspace

- Canva

- Social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, or similar)

- Email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or similar)

- Project management tools (Asana, Trello, ClickUp, or similar)

- Slack, Zoom, and other remote collaboration tools
